Pink Friday at the Swagman

Pink Friday exploded onto the Sligo LGBT scene in December 2015 thanks to the lovely people at ITS LGBT. Since then, tales of these epic nights out have become legendary in the Sligo LGBT community and beyond. Those lucky enough to have attended previous Pink Fridays will know that this event is simply not to be missed! We have been waiting for the chance to see each other again, and now is your chance.

Sligo Pride is delighted to host our extra-special PRIDE edition of Pink Friday with very limited tickets, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Gaymes Night

Sligo Pride presents a night of fun and gaymes. Join us for such games as Jackbox Party Pack, Among Us and more

Grab your dice, your most flamboyant shirt, and your sneakyist Docs as you get ready to bite back at corrupt governmental systems and rainbow capitalism when you pull off the heist of the century in Be Gay Do Crimes, a role-playing game based on the system Honey Heist (for 4-5 players)

Also for anyone new to Role-Playing Games(RPGs) we will be running a Beginner D&D One-Shot for new players (subject to demand)

Intro to Trans Support Groups

Wednesday at 6:30pm Trans support groups with TENI. Lilith Ferreyra-Carroll, community outreach officer with TENI, will give a presentation on the work she does in TENI and supporting other groups. Gossip Galway will discuss the work they do followed by an intro to Trans Northwest.

Pride 101 with ShoutOut

Join Sligo Pride and as we take a look at the history and meaning of Pride in Ireland and across the globe. This interactive session is designed to give participants a close understanding of Pride and to explore the valuable role of allies and LGBTQ+ folks alike in supporting the ongoing struggle for equality, all around the world. Participants will leave with a better knowledge of Pride, its meaning, and what battles for equality are left to fight.

Nature Walk in Doorly Park

Join us and Nature Educator Michael Bell to discover some of Sligo’s most beautiful nature trails. This walk will take you along the Sli Na Slainte and Doorly Park nature trails which are located along the Garavouge river and the shores of Lough Gill. Prepare to learn a little about Sligo and the flora and fauna which can be found along these trails.

Beach Yoga at Sligo Pride

Join us and Yogi Blaithin Sweeney for a session of beach yoga in the vibrant surf village of Strandhill, located along the Wild Atlantic Way. Bring your yoga mats and get ready to relax and indulge in an outdoor yoga experience whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the sea.
